When you change your YouTube email address through your Google account isn't always viable. You'll probably not be able to update the @gmail.com email address associated with your YouTube account, so you'll need to create a new Google account and link it to a different email address that won't be associated with Gmail.
Therefore, for some users, the procedure for altering the email address associated with Youtube is rather simple.
Step 1: Tap on your image (or avatar) in the top right corner after logging into your Google account.
Step 2: Here on the dropdown menu, select "Change your Google Account."
Step 3: Choose "Personal info" from the left-hand column on the relevant page.
Step 4: In the "Contact info" area, select Email.
Step 5: Click Edit next to your email address under "Google Account email" to make changes. If you use a Gmail address, Google says you might not have access to "Google Account email" and you won't be able to modify it.
Step 6: If you have the option to change your email, enter the new address you want to use and then save your changes.
Now check for a confirmation message with in inbox of the email address you have entered. As soon as you have confirmed the upgrade, you should be ready to go.
