It is not easy to manage your Sling TV subscription. If you wish to change the Sling TV subscription package or cancel it, then you must find your way around the website and account management pages. In both situations, you need to go to the account dashboard first.
Step 1: First of all, launch your web browser and then go over to Sling. Once it shows up, you need to select the sign-in option given in the upper-right corner of your page for logging into your account.
Step 2: After that, the login page of Sling TV will open up before you. Type your email address and password and click on Sign In to continue. In case you are using a VPN set up outside the United States, then you may run into issues while signing in. Please ensure that you use a US-based IP address when you sign in to Sling.
Step 3: Sling will take some time to load. Once it does, you will reach their streaming interface. Search for and then select the upper-right corner of your screen to launch account settings.
Step 4: Now, the settings page will open up before you. You will see the Account tab opened up on your settings page. Choose the option of Manage account to open a new tab for account preferences.
Step 5: After that, Sling is going to open a browser tab for the account dashboard. This has all the links that you require to manage your account. This includes changing the package and canceling the subscription.
Step 6: In order to cancel the subscription, go to the next section. In case you only wish to make the changes, then you can go to the last section.
In order to cancel your Sling TV subscription, below are the steps that you need to follow.
Step 1: First of all, you need to search for the link to cancel your subscription given on the left side of your dashboard below the heading "My Subscription" in the center of your screen. Then, choose Cancel Subscription.
Step 2: After that, you will see a message on your screen that says "Don't cancel now". In case you change your mind, then you can select the option of Stream more. If you are 100% sure about the cancellation, then select the Cancel Subscription option in the bottom-right corner of your message.
Step 3: Sling TV will give you the option to pause the subscription rather than cancel the subscription. If you are going on a vacation, then you won't be able to use Sling TV. This will allow you to cancel outright. In case you aren't happy with the service or you have other reasons for cancelation, then select the option of "Continue to cancel" to cancel the subscription.
Step 4: Sling TV may send you more messages asking you why you wish to cancel the subscription. If you have made up your mind about the cancellation, then select the "Continue to cancel" option.
Step 5: Once your Sling TV account gets canceled officially, then you won't get billed.
If you wish to make changes to your Sling TV subscription, then add or remove channels and packages. After that, carry out the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Choose the Change Subscription option given on the left side of your screen. This option is given under the Your Subscription header.
Step 2: Then, you will be directed to a new page, which has a list of all the options that Sling provides. Go to the top of your page. There, you will find basic blue and orange packages.
Just below these packages, you will see Latino and Standalone subscriptions. Select the option of Show More given under the major categories to show a list of available channels and add-on packages.
Step 3: Choose the option of Add or Select given right next to the package that you wish to add. This will change to the yellow check mark like other options that are already on your account.
Step 4: Removing a package from your account is the reverse. Select the check mark next to a package that is checked off. It will go back to blue Add or Select.
Step 5: Once you get the configuration you want, go to the end of the page and then select Review.
Step 6: It will take you to a breakdown of a new bill. It has the list of everything on your account along with the charges you need to pay for them. If you wish to add a service, then you are required to pay additional charges.
Step 7: At the end, you will see a total monthly bill. If all seems fine, then select the option of Submit Order to make the change.
