How to Download Shows and Movies from Hulu for Offline Viewing?

There are many amazing shows and movies on the Hulu platform. One thing that makes it different from Netflix is that it allows users to watch recently aired episodes. Whereas on Netflix, you can only watch the complete seasons of your favorite TV shows. Here in this article, you will learn how to download movies and TV shows from Hulu for offline viewing. Please ensure that you have a compatible device

Sadly, you can't download the movies and shows you like on your gaming console or PC. You can only download the media by going to the official mobile apps of Hulu. We all know that Windows 10 has the Hulu app. However, it's different from the download club. To enjoy offline viewing, you need a smartphone, an Apple device, or an Amazon device. 

Go for a different plan if required

Now, you have a Hulu subscription and compatible device but you still can't see your favorite show or movie. If you have bought the basic plan, then you won't be able to download the show.  The download is only possible if you buy Hulu + Live TV subscription, Hulu (No ads) subscription, or Hulu (No ads) + Live TV subscription. If you wish to take the benefit of offline viewing, then you must change plans. Below are the simple steps that you need to follow in order to download shows and movies from Hulu for offline viewing. 

Step 1: Launch Hulu on your internet browser. You will not be able to make changes to your account by using the mobile app. 

Step 2: Select the icon of "account" given at the upper right corner. 

Step 3: Now, go to the drop-down menu and choose Account. 

Step 4: Enter the password if required. 

Step 5: Go to the option of Subscription panel and then choose the option of "Manage Plan". 

Step 6: Choose the Toggle given after the plans, which support downloads. 

Step 7: Now, select the button of "Review changes"

Step 8: Once you review the changes, then select Submit. 

How to find the downloadable content?

It is easy to find the content that you want to download. Below are the steps that you need to follow to find and download the content that you need. 

Step 1: Go to the global navigation bar and then select the Search icon. 

Step 2: Now, tap on the downloadable option. 

Step 3: Search for the content you want to watch offline by going to Hulu's library. 

Step 4: Go to shows and then select the icon of Download. You will see an arrow right next to every episode. 

How to remove the downloaded content?

When you are done watching the downloaded content, then you must delete it by following the steps given below. 

Step 1: Select the option of "Downloads" by going to the navigation bar given at the end. 

Step 2: Select the icon of Checkmark given at the right side of the downloaded content. 

Step 3:  Now, tap on the option of "Delete Download" from the pop-up menu. 

How to adjust the quality of downloaded content?

Viewers can watch standard resolution by default that enables you to download quickly with less storage. You can improve the video quality by selecting High. However, high quality will take a long time to download and will occupy more space on your device. 

Step 1: Select the option of Downloads given in the navigation bar at the end. 

Step 2: Now, another screen will open up before you. There, you need to click on the Gear icon. It is given on the top left corner of your Android smartphone and the top right corner of your Android device. 

Step 3: Select the setting of Video Quality from the screen appearing before you. 

Step 4: Now, choose the option of High or Standard.
