Fix Spotify Web Player won’t Play Error:

Spotify is a Sweden-based audio streaming platform that allows you to access over 50 million podcasts and songs. It provides users with a web player that you can play on the browser. This way, you are not required to download the app.

Recently, we have been seeing a lot of reports of users who are not able to play audio on Spotify web. In this issue, users fail to play tracks. Even refreshing the page does not work.

What Stops Spotify Web from Working?

Several reasons can lead to this problem. Some of the causes are listed below.

Multiple Logins: If logged into Spotify using different accounts, it may stop you from streaming music. This is a constant problem for a lot of users who logged into their accounts using multiple devices.

Safari Browser: In case you are trying to play Spotify web on safari, then that will turn out to be a failure. As Spotify is not usable on the browser after browser updates, it does not support the browser's architecture.

Cache and Cookies: In order to reduce app loading time, apps store cache. Storing cache helps in providing a smooth experience to the user. Cookies are stored on the website for the same reason. Nevertheless, cookies and cache may get corrupted with time and cause issues while loading the website.

Solution 1: Load Tracks Directly

Sometimes you may experience glitches in the loading process of your website. A simple solution to resolve this problem is to load the song that you want to play by pasting the web address of the song in the address bar of your browser.

Below, we have mentioned the steps that you need to perform to copy and paste the link of the song and then open it directly.

Step 1: Launch your internet browser and then open your web player service.

Step 2: Go to the track that you wish to play and then select the three dots given in the front of the song. After that, you are required to select the "Copy song link".

Step 3: Then, you are required to paste this web address in the location bar of your browser. After that, press the Enter key.

Step 4: When your page loads, you must try to play your song. After that, you need to check if your issue is still persisting.

Solution 2: Try to Refresh the Selected Device

If the above-mentioned solution did not help you out with your problem, then you can try this solution. If your account is logged into different devices, then you may experience issues while switching from a selected streaming device. To fix this problem, you must refresh the selected device.
