This issue affects users on all platforms, including those using Youtube on the web (Windows and Mac) and the smartphone app (Android and iPhone) (iOS).

How Do I Fix Server Error 503 on YouTube?

If you're having trouble with YouTube error 503, there are a few things you can do to help fix the issue.

Follow each of the solutions below one at a time, checking to see if the error continues.

Solution 1: Refresh YouTube

It's possible that the error is temporary and that a fast refresh will get it back up and running. Reload the YouTube page where the error occurred. You can also try again by returning to the Home page.

Solution 2: Check YouTube-Server Status

There may be an issue with YouTube's servers. You will see if there are any server maintenance announcements on their website or social media profiles. If this is the case, all you have to do now is wait for Google to correct the issue. From time to time, take a look at YouTube.

Solution 3: Power Cycle Your Device

Your network connection can be refreshed by power cycling your device.

  • Unplug your modem and router and turn off your device.
  • Allow at least one minute to go.
  • Reconnect your modem and router.
  • Switch on your device and relaunch YouTube after connecting.

Solution 4: Clear the Cache on Your YouTube App
