If you're having trouble with YouTube error 503, there are a few things you can do to help fix the issue.

Follow each of the solutions below one at a time, checking to see if the error continues.

Solution 1: Refresh YouTube

It's possible that the error is temporary and that a fast refresh will get it back up and running. Reload the YouTube page where the error occurred. You can also try again by returning to the Home page.

Solution 2: Check YouTube-Server Status

There may be an issue with YouTube's servers. You will see if there are any server maintenance announcements on their website or social media profiles. If this is the case, all you have to do now is wait for Google to correct the issue. From time to time, take a look at YouTube.

Solution 5: Remove Videos from Your Watch Later List

A long playlist on your Watch Later list could be the cause of the error. Navigate to the Watch Later list and try to delete a few videos. Select Remove watched from the three-dotted icon.
