Sling live tv: Right channel, but wrong show

When changing channels on Sling live tv, it does switch to the channel I selected, but it very often shows me a previous show or an infomercial instead of the current show I clicked on. To get out of this, I have to either click the select button, and if that doesn't work, I have to back out of Sling altogether and restart it. When an infomercial pops up, it sometimes takes several minutes to realize it's not a commercial break on the show I wanted to watch and I lost those minutes from that show. The problem has been getting progressively worse. Can Sling fix this or is there anything I can do to resolve this problem? It's very frustrating.
